How to reach us

The most convenient airport to reach the Amalfi Coast is Naples-Capodichino. From Naples there are various possibilities.

By Car

Driving offers flexibility and scenic views:

From Rome: Approx. 3.5–4 hours. Take A1 south → A3 → exit Castellammare di Stabia → SS163.
From Naples: Approx. 1.5–2 hours. A3 to Castellammare di Stabia → SS145 & SS163.

Tips:

Limited parking in Positano — private garages are recommended.
Roads are narrow and winding — rent a small car if possible.

Luggage and stairs
The area is characterized by stairways and pedestrian paths.
We recommend light luggage; upon request, we can arrange a luggage assistance service.

By Train

From Rome: Frecciarossa/Italo to Naples Centrale (~1h10).
From Naples: Take Circumvesuviana to Sorrento → SITA bus to Positano → local orange bus to Nocelle.

By Ferry (Seasonal)

Direct ferries (e.g. Positano Jet) from Naples to Positano.
Best in spring/summer. Avoid with luggage.

From Naples Station to Petrea (Nocelle)

Train to Sorrento (Circumvesuviana).
Bus to Positano (SITA) → Chiesa Nuova stop.
Local orange bus Montepertuso-Nocelle → Grado stop.
